California College Promise Grant (CCPG)

Cal Grant
Awards are determined by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) to assist students with their educational expenses. To apply for a Cal Grant, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the "GPA Verification Form" (Cal Grant application). Learn more: State: Cal Grant
Chafee Grant
The California Chafee Grant Program provides money to current or former foster youth to use for career and technical training or college courses. The student doesn't have to pay this money back and can use it for things like child care, transportation, and rent. The Chafee Grant Program, also known as the Educational and Training Voucher (EVT), is a federally funded program and is subject to the availability of federal funds each year. Extended Opportunities Programs and Services (EOPS)

Student Success Completion Grant (SSCG)
The grant was created in order to facilitate student persistence, retention, and success. The SSCG provides additional financial assistance to students attending at least 12 or more units per semester.
Golden State Education and Training Grant Program (GSETGP)
This program is designed to encourage and support individuals who suffered COVID-related job loss to enter, continue and complete college and job training programs. The program was established and funded in the 2021 California Budget Act, mainly with one-time federal COVID recovery dollars, to offer this one-time financial incentive.
