1. Are you a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen?

Yes β Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
β Unsure β Check eligibility at studentaid.gov
β No β Go to question 2.
2. Are you AB540 Eligible?

Yes β Fill out the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
β Unsure β Submit an AB 540 form so Admissions and Records can determine your classification.
β No β Go to question 3.
3. If you are not eligible for FAFSA or CADAA, are you a California resident?

Yes β Apply for the California College Promise Grant (CCPG)
β Unsure β Learn how California Residency is Classified
β No β Talk to Admissions & Records to find out your options.

Processing may take up to 15 business days, but checking your email and dashboard regularly helps avoid delays.

Check your Financial Aid Dashboard to see if there are any tasks you need to complete. Go to citruscollege.studentforms.com to complete required tasks and upload documents.

Wait for Your Offer of Financial Aid
Once your application is reviewed, youβll get an email titled Offer of Financial Aid, which will include what financial aid you are eligible to receive. Awards are based on full-time (12+ units, usually 4 or more classes for most students) enrollment. If you take fewer units, your aid will be adjusted.
