The Admissions and Records Office places holds to verify name, SSN, citizenship, and date of birth due to inconsistencies in the information submitted to Citrus College or recorded in a database that Citrus College is required to submit information to. Holds on your Citrus College student records serve as temporary restrictions that will be removed after the information is reconciled. By promptly addressing these issues, you can help ensure the accuracy and integrity of your academic and financial records. Please note, Citrus College is required to submit data to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), California Chancellor’s Office, and the US Department of Education among others. In some instances, these databases may show different information for you such as name change, and the college may be required to verify such information.
