Where can I view my Cost of Attendance (COA)?
If you have submitted a financial aid application, you can view your cost of attendance by viewing your Financial Aid Dashboard and clicking on the "Award Offer" tab. If you haven't submitted an application, you can view the cost of attendance below.
What is the COA?
COA is the amount that it will cost you to go to Citrus College for an academic year and will be used to determine your "Financial Need". If you’re attending Citrus College at least half-time, the COA is the estimate of tuition and fees, cost of living expenses (Food and Housing), cost of books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, and miscellaneous expenses. The COA includes estimated direct billed costs (tuition and fees) and the estimated indirect cost (room and board, books and supplies, transportation, miscellaneous).
How is Financial Need Calculated?
Cost of Attendance minus Expected Family Contribution (EFC)/Student Aid Index (SAI) = Financial Need
How is Financial Need used to determine my financial aid eligibility?
Once you meet all the eligibility requirements for financial aid, the Financial Aid Department will determine how much financial aid you are eligible to receive, based on your financial need and the availability of funds.
