The enrollment fee, also known as the registration fee, is a per-unit fee charged per Education Code Section 76300 and Title 5 Sections 58500-58509). K-12 concurrent enrollment students are not subject to the enrollment fee if they enroll in 11 or fewer units each term.
Tuition is a per unit fee that includes both nonresident tuition and the capital outlay fee. Nonresident students, out-of-state students, and international students are assessed tuition. K-12 nonresident students that are part of a CCAP/Early College program are not assessed tuition so long as they register 15 units or less.
